Shri Sadguru Mahima

Param pavitra sthaan hai Sidhdaata kaa dhaam,
Saare tirath kar liye lekar Guru kaa naam.

The Siddhdaata Ashram is a sacred place. Just by singing in praise of the Guru, we would derive benefits of visiting several holy places of worship.

गुरु चरण की धूल भी मिले अगर नादान।
दौड़ के सर पे धार लें या को नहीं बखान॥

Guru charnan ki dhool bhi mile agar naadaan,
Daur ke sar pe dhaar le yaa ko nahin bakhaan.

Oh! Ignorant, even if we were to receive just the dust of his feet, we would run and receive that inexplicable and put it on our heads.

ब्रह्म अस्त्र की काट है गुरु कृपा बेकाट।
गुरु किरपा जा पर भई वा की बन गई बात॥

Brahm astra ki kaat hai Guru kirpaa bekaat,
Guru kirpaa jaa par bhaie waa ki ban gaie baat.

There still exists an answer to the Brahma astra, but none can ever supersede the blessings of a Guru. One, who receives the blessings of his Guru, makes it in life.

अब आगे न व्यर्थ हो सांसों का व्योपार।
सिमर नाम गुरु देव का जो जग के आधार।।

Ab aage naa vyarth ho saanson kaa vyopaar,
Simar naam Guru dev kaa jo jag ke aadhaar.

Let us not waste away this beautiful life gifted by God. Let us take the name of Guru Deva, the source of everything in this world.

गुरु बचावनहार है गुरु ही बक्षनहार।
जा के सिर पर हाथ है वा को बेड़ा पार॥

Guru bachaavanhaar hai Guru hi bakshanhaar,
Jaa ke sir par haath hai vaa ko beraa paar.

The Guru is known to be the savior and the benevolent. One would cross the ocean of this materialistic world with just the blessings of the Guru.

जहां समर्पण भाव है वहां गुरु आशीश।
बगिया सेवा धर्म की प्रेमासुंन से सींच॥

Jahaan samarpan bhaav hai vahaan Guru aashish,
Bagiyaa sewa dharam ki premaansoovan se seench.

The Guru showers his blessings on those who have a heart filled with the thought of Sacrifice. Water that beautiful garden of service with tears of love from your heart.
